Mr. Garrett's expertise is corporate finance, strategy and management, particularly in the publishing business.

He has held posts with investment banking firm Smith Barney as well as Security Capital Corporation. In 1986, he reactivated his family's 150-year old merchant banking firm, Robert Garrett & Sons, which he focused on venture capital investing in the publishing business. In 1990, he and five partners established AdMedia to create a financial advisory and investment banking firm to serve advertising and media companies.
