James C. Marlas
Chairman

Jim founded Union Capital in 1968 and has been involved in every investment made by Union Capital. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Mickelberry Communications, Inc., a NYSE listed marketing services company until [1995]. He began his career as an associate at the international law firm Baker & McKenzie.

He serves as Vice Chairman of the New York City Opera, Emeritus Member of the Young Professionals Organization - International Chapter, Member of the Chairman's Council of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Head of the New York Chapter of the Commanderie de Bordeaux.

Jim received a JD from the University of Chicago, an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University (England) and an AB in History from Harvard University.
