Art has been affiliated with Union Capital for over 40 years and rejoined the firm after serving as President and CEO of Sunshine Biscuits (manufacturer of Cheez-it Crackers) until its sale to Keebler. He has spent his entire career in the consumer products industry, with over 25 years of general management experience leading companies in size from $15 million to $700 million in sales. He leads Union Capital's operational due diligence process as well as serves on the board of directors of several Union Capital portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Sunshine, he was CEO of Salerno-McGowan Biscuit Company and Mama's Cookies, a Union Capital portfolio company. He began his career with Mickelberry Food Products.
